Could someone tell me are birds allowed celery??

I have read somewhere I cant for the life of me remember where, that you shouldn't feed it to them so I have put it on my "DO NOT FEED" list.

Yet I found recipe tonight on a website that is simple and looks tasty but it has listed celery as one of the foods used in it. The recipe was specifically for birds!!

    HELP PLEASE!!

I've given it to our boys. Charlie used to like it spread with a bit of palm oil but he hasn't tried it for ages.

I think celery is on the 'dangerous foods' lists on many sites not because it's poisonous but because it is considered a 'choking hazard'. As anyone who has every tried to eat a bit of 'stringy' celery will know it is incredibly difficult to chew and swallow.

Mine have it but it is always diced really small.
