3/4cup soy flour     1/2cup chopped nuts

    1cup whole wheat flour      1/2cup chopped dates,dried cranberries,or raisins

1cup all purpose flour         1cup plain yoghurt or applesauce

1/2cup wheat germ           1egg,beaten with shells (washed)

    1/4cup multi-grain flour      1/4cup oil

1/3cup instant dry milk       1/4cup molasses

    2tsp,baking powder            1/4cup honey

2tsp,baking soda                1/2cup orange juice or apple juice

    1pinch of salt

    Preheat the oven to 350f

Mix all of the dry ingredients in a large bowl.In a smaller bowl, mix together the juice, honey, molasses, oil, egg, and yoghurt(applesauce).Stir in dates, cranberries or raisins, and the nuts.Mix well and then stir into the dryingredients until blended.Spoon into a greased, floured loaf tin,(9x5x3)and bake for 45-60minutes or until it tests done with a thoothpick.

Imake this into small muffins instead of a bread. When making muffins, bakefor20-30 minutes or until done.My birds love it either way.

Safety tip:When using egg shells, always make sure you wash them thoroughly first.
