Hi, Can anyone tell me if a 2' by 2' by 5' high cage is suitable for an african grey / amazon size parrot.

The bird would have time out of the cage most days

    Thanks

Any cage should be big enough for a bird to be abble to flap its wings and still have a bit of space. 2' by 2' sounds a bit small for a CAG to me (the height is pretty irrelevant, as long as it's not tiny.)

Also, you need to consider bar spacing (so the bird can't get its head stuck.) For CAGs it's recommended 3/4" to 1" minimum. Hope this helps.
