16 Replies and 1751 Views RIP Chloe , my little roly poly.  1751  16 Started by  shaz Sadly earlier this evening Chloe my BL Amazon passed away very suddenly. She came in severely obese, hardly able to walk but in just over 2 years whilst she didn't lose a great deal of weight she did convert the fat into muscle. \She loved being outdoors in the aviary, puffing out her chest and shouting out her 'tune'. She will be missed greatly and the house will seem SO quiet. RIP CHloe xx Now you can fly girl!!!!

11 Replies and 1737 Views Tiny T - one of the little ones  1737  11 Started by  Mel Im sad to say that Tiny T one of the budgies from the collection of the little ones passed away today at the vets. She was one that was expected to die from day one, but I&160;have nursed her and she has always had a dropped wing and a deformed foot and&160;beak which needed filing every for weeks. Sadly the stress was too much for her today as she has always been the weakest of the little ones. The vet tried to resussitate her but in vain, this is the hard part of being part of birdline, its...

(Topic has multiple pages1 2 )
It is with deep sadness that i share this news today. Micky passed away at 5.01am this morning in my arms Aged approx 64 years. She was with me just 11 months but during that time she became a VERY important member of the household and will be sadly sadly missed. The flock seem to know that there is something amiss today as they are restless. Would like to thank Sheila for allowing me the pleasure of fostering Micky for her last months. x

During the night my beautiful bald Pollyanna passed away, she is now flying fully clothed, and happy&160;over the rainbow bridge!&160; Pollyanna was not ill, but 49 this year.&160; She was a very, very much loved grey, who could be a right witch when she wanted to, she would sooner bite you than look at you, and then when you were bleeding profusely she would&160;laugh at you, and of course I&160;would always go back for a second stroke and she would have my other hand, and again laugh.&16...

12 Replies and 1700 Views RIP 'That'  1700  12 Started by  Crystal West Those who have visited my home have seen and met my three painted american quails This, That and Other......they are only the size of a budgie but fiesty and game little birds. They reside in the bottom of the cockatiels Cage, and this morning somehow, but not a clue how, That escaped and got killed by a cat. I chased the cat for about 20 mins determined that THAT would at least not be eaten and given a dignified burial. So RIP Little THAT, your be sadly missed by all especially your two 'girls'...

I couldn't have shut the door properly as the next thing I knew Poppy had flown into the front of the lift, and crashed to the floor. She died on the way to the vet. I'm so sorry my darling girl.
