6 Replies and 2775 Views How you can help Birdline, without fostering or safehousing!    2775  6 Started by  SharonH Firstly check you membership profile, click on your name which you should see in blue on the top right of the page. Go down to the bottom of the page and click the Giftaid button. This does not affect your tax status in any way, but means that BL can claim back tax you have already paid on your membership donation   Do check the terms and conditions first, but if you are a UK taxpayer, and pay more than £6.25 tax per year, you should qualify.   Secondly, do you shop online o...

Go here: PHOTOBUCKET and this is what you will see:  Click on the big yellow button that says 'Sign Up For Free' and it will take you here:  As you can see, there are sever...

3 Replies and 1421 Views Domestic budgies into aviary  1421  3 Started by  randal_bond Hi, I am currently facing a dilemma of rehoming my three 5 and 7 y.o. budgies (you can see my ad on Preloved called Three budgies to rehome together NOT to aviary)  I hardly get any response, probably because nobody wants three budgies together that are not young anymore and not for breeding.  What is your opinion on rehoming domestic budgies into...

My main question is help i cant find a ACO for Cornwall on the contact on a manager who covers ...

1 Replies and 2095 Views Selling things for birdline  2095  1 Started by  Samsilversone At the moment I am collecting feathers from my cockatoo (Naturally dropped not plucked. He's very good not to pluck. The bird is in very good health) and just making jewellery out of them for a hobby. I was wondering how I would go about selling any (even non feathered jewellery) when I have enough or even taken some and selling them at shows. I understand this could take a little under a year to do but If I did have enough how would I go about doing that.  If any one in the area wants...

8 Replies and 3809 Views Beginner's problemos  3809  8 Started by  Scott Good Morning  Due to the unique way my estranged Wife knows everything, after only two weeks, she has discovered that Maxamillion Parrotus (AKA The Blue Max), Blue Fronted Amazon, is a lot of work and great drain on her free time. Max has now taken up residence with me in my small ground floor flat. I knew this would happen sooner or later, i just did not expect it yet. Max does know me and we are bonding and he will see Edward, my Son and heir, three or four days a week, so there is ...

5 Replies and 2213 Views Can't Put Pics up, or even a link to Photobucket!  2213  5 Started by  Doddie Kent I can't seem to put pictures up on the forum, not even links to Photobucket... why I seem to be blocked somehow, although I can access posts on the forum, and reply as normal. I feel puzzled. It's a pity, too, because I have the loveliest little guy in my house, it took me ages to identify him, and I wanted to put pics of him up to see if anyone else would recognise the breed. I've tried (well, my son-in-law has tried) all obvious avenues, but nothing. Arrrgggghhhhhh! Doddie
