1 Replies and 920 Views Birds and this hot weather (keep them safe)  920  1 Started by  Ann Conway Please be extra vigilant and be  aware of the extreme heatwave we are experiencing at the moment , and how badly it may affect your birds, especially if you have them out in your gardens. I personally will not put mine out until it is a lot  cooler, preferably in the early evening. Even shaded areas can be just  too hot at the moment.

4 Replies and 1479 Views Inclusion of video clips  1479  4 Started by  Ty (ACO Leicestershire) Hi. Bandwidth is expensive and technically more challenging but have we considered using video clips of the birds on the re- home list I'm fortunate to be safe housing some lovely birds that want nothing more than be scratched and fussed. A 10 second clip would melt any heart and have potential fosters coming forward.

No smoke comes out but wanted to make sure it would be hazardous to a bird. I have a monoxide alarm which never goes above normal. Thanks in advance for your replies. Leon
