My niece lost her cockatiel on Wednesday.

He wasn't a birdline bird but I thought I would post it here just incase any one down south hears anything. He is a dear little soul that talks says his name and also her name wolf whistle and generally chirps and sings away when she home from school. He is also fully flighted. He does have distinctive marking so we will know straight away if its him.

I with the rest of the family was out wed eve till dark watching up a tree out of reach chirping at us all and generally having a ball!! Thursday morning up at the crack of dawn heard him but was gone from the particular tree. Havent seen him since but heard him a couple of times yesterday. Absolutely nothing today. She is heart broken that her little buddy has gone.

I will be out again looking at the weekend and hopefully we will get him back. If anyone hears anything about a cockatiel being found round Torquay area please get  in touch.

Tell her to put it on parrotalert.com Deb, that way it will get shared on a lot of the parrot facebook pages too. The wider you can cast the net, the better the chances of finding him.
