He'll have his own cage, all his food etc for the week - he just needs people who understand cockatoos who will be home all or most of the day to be with him. I usually use Parrot Camp near Glasgow airport but they are no longer in operation. Can anyone help Laura. xx

2 Replies and 1402 Views In advance for Feb 2013  1402  2 Started by  EmmaT Booked a holiday for Feb 14th 2013. Now worried I won't get suitable care for my parrots while I'm away. I've considered hiring somebody who advertises at the vets to come over, but I've no idea who much they know about parrots and it's creepy having someone I din't know in my house while I'm away. 0 Replies and 916 Views Gloucestershire Boarding - Happy to Help  916  0 Started by  Virginia Hi - I own a blackheaded caique that is health checked for psittacosis.   I am happy to help out with holiday cover as long as own bird carries a clean bill of health (certificate required)! I work from home so your feathered friends would be rarely left in an empty house and will get plenty of love and attention.

I do have one stipulation though, because of some illnesses I would prefer to look after birdies that are healthy and vet checked etc as all of mine are vet checked, they've had full bloods done, I take my four to my Avian vets for regular health checks, so I would n...
