It has bits of rust here and there, and could do with a thorough clean. Does anyone out there want it? It should be collected from Surrey. It flatpacks. Not suitable for Umbrella 2 or Macaw, which is what I was hoping, more for two or three Greys, Ammys, that kind of size.

    Measurements:

    Front – back                    23”

Top – bottom                   62” (highest point)

    Side – side                      54.5”

It has three doors, each one 8” wide x 7.25” high, and the top opens up. When it’s collapsed, the longest bit is 57.25”, widest bit 26”.

hi, this might sound a stupid question, but how far apart are the bars? I'm looking to get a large cage as an indoor aviary, but would be for smaller birds, ie budgies. thanks

    Hi Nicky

If you want an indoor avairy I have a purpose built one, it flat packs, and currently holds 10 tiels and 1 nanday, all are moving into another cage, it was donated to me by June, and I am sure she would not mind it being used and passed on for such a worthy cause. Just let me know. I can send you a picture.

The bars are 18mm apart. I suspect not an ideal cage for budgies, but maybe cockatiels? Parakeets? The casters are there, but may need replacing. It seems such a shame not to use it.

Gutted that I am so far away I am currently starting the process of, hopefully, adopting a BL bird and, although he comes with a cage would love to create a superb space for him that would allow him plenty of space with a view to possibly introduce a friend if he was deemed okay to share.

Hi Crystal, that would be great, can you tell me what size it is please? sorry Doddie, don't want to mess you about, but will take Crystal up on her offer. If no BL member needs it, you could try free cycle, not doubt it would be snapped up pretty quickly.

Lesley, do your back seats fold? What car is it? It fits in our old A-Class Merc. which is a small car. Flatpack measurements are on the original post - try measuring your car... I am going to Berkshire, I could bring it up.

That would be fabulous if you can get it to you Lesley. I don't drive and hubby is unable to at present due to an arm injury so would have to try to arrange a courier or similar to bring it from you that is my big problem Shall enquire as to whether we have anyone going your way.

I have expressed an interest in offerning Archie the grey a forever home so this cage would be totally adorable for him

I have a Honda CRV, setas fold down and can fit a double mattress in there with ease so I imagine it would go in. I am going to Berkshire on the Saturday and would happily bring it back to mine and can hang on to it until you can get it Em.

If this is any good to you let me know...
