I am writing this on behalf of Rita as she is too upset to write this.

Corky was a disabled Amazon who Rita had fostered and cared for the past a year, he finally gave up the fight for his life.

He is now free from pain & flying free with all the Birdline birds who were given that second chance.

Thank you Rita for giving this man the love he deserved. You gave him care and love up to his final hour.

You should be proud of what you have done, although the pain will get easier the happy memories of him will remain in your heart forever.

Fly free Corky, we will never forget you little one. xx

God loved birds he created trees, man loved birds he created cages :-(

Good night my darling little boy the bird room will miss the 6am dog barking that you did so well and the new telephone that you learnt from Daffy only last week.
But you are now free from pain so fly high and thank for all the good times,
Ah and if the rainbow over Sleaford tonight was you it was beautiful.

Ohhh i was sooo sad to read this.. was only thinking of Korks the other day when one of my lot suddenly started crying like a baby. Rita i am glad he came over to you and i KNOW he had a fabulous life over the past year, probably a year he wouldn't have had without your care and love..
Fly free little man,go perch on the tallest tree you can find and laugh your little socks off! x
My door is always open to birds.... Humans must make an appointment! x_3bc50230
