I thought, as we approach Christmas and the inevitable spending spree, I would remind existing members and ask (no, plead with!) new members to join Easyfundraising and register Birdline as your chosen charity. Registration is FREE and When you make a purchase with one of their 2,700+ participating retailers, as a thank you for shopping, the retailer provides a donation for you to give to your chosen good cause. You choose which good cause to give it to. Retailers include Amazon, John Lewis, M&S, Argos and eBay. It is absolutely FREE to use - the retailer simply makes a donation based on your spend, to your registered charity which I hope would be Birdline.

There is ONLY ONE drawback that I have found and that is why I am issueing this reminder because I do forget sometimes. You need to access the particular retailer THROUGH Easyfundraising so, for example, if you go straight to your purchase will NOT register. You MUST go to and THEN select the chosen retailer and click on their link, for your purchase to register.

So, what are we waiting for? This is a GOOD and FREE way to raise valuable funds for our Charity.

PLEASE, IF you are already a member, remember to go shopping via Easyfundraising, and,

IF you are NOT a member, please join up now! So far Birdline has gained £939.95 just by people like you doing their on-line shopping AT NO EXTRA COST!

    Thanks for reading,

As part of the new European General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) we have to give visitors to our web site an opportunity to choose not to accept Cookies each time they visit. The most straight forward way to achieve this is to ask people to 'Accept Cookies' (or not) each time they visit the site. The users choice will then ONLY be remembered while the browser is open, once it is closed or the computer is shut down the cookie will expire thus the users choice will not be remembered.
