***IMPORTANT NOTICE 16/7/2017*** - Unfortunately Birdline are now full with regard to rescue birds, and are currently UNABLE take additional birds into the charity. We will provide an update as soon as the position changes

WARNING – Please Be Aware

If you are looking to re-home your parrot, please always use a reputable Parrot Rescue Organisation.

Always check to ensure the organisation you wish to use is registered with an approved organisation such as ‘The Charities Commission’ or ‘Companies House’.

We do know of some so called ‘Parrot Rescues’ who are taking in birds, and then re-selling them despite what their web sites states.

I thought, as we approach Christmas and the inevitable spending spree, I would remind existing members and ask (no, plead with!) new members to join Easyfundraising and register Birdline as your chosen charity. Registration is FREE and When you make a purchase with one of their 2,700+ participating retailers, as a thank you for shopping, the retailer provides a donation for you to give to your chosen good cause. You choose which good cause to give it to. Retailers include Amazon, John Lewis, M&S, Argos and eBay. It is absolutely FREE to use - the retailer simply makes a donation based on your spend, to your registered charity which I hope would be Birdline.

There is ONLY ONE drawback that I have found and that is why I am issueing this reminder because I do forget sometimes. You need to access the particular retailer THROUGH Easyfundraising so, for example, if you go straight to eBay.co.uk your purchase will NOT register. You MUST go to Easyfundraising.org.uk and THEN select the chosen retailer and click on their link, for your purchase to register.

So, what are we waiting for? This is a GOOD and FREE way to raise valuable funds for our Charity.

PLEASE, IF you are already a member, remember to go shopping via Easyfundraising, and,

IF you are NOT a member, please join up now! So far Birdline has gained £939.95 just by people like you doing their on-line shopping AT NO EXTRA COST!

    Thanks for reading,

    Dave
