Hi Karen, experience isn't necessary, the right mind-set is. Welcome to Birdline. You will eventually get a call from one of the Rehoming Team, and you'll be able to ask a lot of questions about the bird you've applied for. Good luck!

While I await I have been makeing toys to shread and just waiting for my new ceramic cookware to arrive. I have put together my birdy first aid kit. I have been researching for weeks. I've no grandchildren so I'm longing to spoil someone.

Lots of people on here saying they haven't herd anything after they paid the membership. There are no photos of any members birds!!?? No birds seem to have dropped off the homing list. Most of this site seems to have very old posts on it. Somewhat worried. If you have to pay a membership, voluntary .org or not you do expect something. Even if its a we don't have anything to suit you at the moment reply.
I had a reply from someone on here so I'm guessing the rescue is still going. I called but the only time anyone answered,I got an older guy telling me I needed an African Grey!!!! I tried to tell him I did NOT need and African Grey. He told me to call back later. No one has ever answered the phone other than that.

    Hi

Sorry you have not heard from anyone. We are over inundated with birds and very short on people. Most of us volunteers work to some degree as well so, everything takes a long time to get done.

    How can we help you?

    Kind regards Tracey
