WARNING – Please Be Aware

If you are looking to re-home your parrot, please always use a reputable Parrot Rescue Organisation.

We do know of some so called ‘Parrot Rescues’ who are taking in birds, and then re-selling them despite what their web sites states.

Hello My name is Helen and I'm a new member in Somerset. I have kept aviary birds and a rescue African Grey (sadly deceased) in the past, and now we have completed our house move I'll hoping to be able to rehome a companion bird sometime.

Looking forward to being part of a bird-cring group. Thank you.

    Hi Helen,
Welcome to Birdline ! Sorry to hear about your past losses. It always hurts to love a beloved family member however many legs or wings they have. There are always plenty of birds that need fostering and / or safehousing, hopefully we can help you find the perfect new friend.

    Welcome Helen.

Are you thinking about safe housing or fostering?

Oh I'm sorry not to have come back to this thread before.

We are hoping to foster, just room for one bird.

I'm hoping to foster, we would only have room for one bird, so a forever friend I hope

    Thank you for the welcome
