If you are looking to re-home your parrot, please always use a reputable Parrot Rescue Organisation.

Always check to ensure the organisation you wish to use is registered with an approved organisation such as ‘The Charities Commission’ 

Please note that we only operate in England, Scotland and Wales. Birds going to be re-homed or safe housed must stay in one of these three countries

    Birdline UK Message Forums

    Our mission is to encourage more people to be involved in the welfare of bird keeping and to provide a refuge to every orphaned, unwanted, and injured parrot regardless of species.

    This forum is a place where Birdline members, and members of the public can come together to share their stories, information and advice. For the most part this forum will be self-moderated within the guidelines listed below. All members are encouraged to post freely within these guidelines without fear of being flamed or embarrassed.

    These guidelines are intended to help this community maintain a friendly and supportive environment. We ask that you read these guidelines prior to posting to this forum. Should you question a thread please notify a forum moderator by clicking on the ALERT button at the top of every post.

    - Foul language, flaming, abuse or posting in bad taste will not be tolerated. Posts of this nature will be removed and the members involved will be banned or require approval prior to having their posts visible by other members.
    - Please ensure that your links are appropriate to the subject being posted.
    - Advertising and solicitation will be deleted unless sanctioned by Birdline UK.
    - Birdline UK, it's Directors, Administrators and Forum Moderators reserve the right to remove any posts and/or images at its sole discretion.
    - Members should not post the personal details, the content of PM's or the content of Emails from other members on this forum without the permission of the member/s concerned.

    Image Guidelines
    - The forum does not support the upload of images, images must be linked to a source on the web outside the forum.
    - To prevent scrolling and reduce the time that it takes to load a page, images posted ideally should be kept to around 500 X 375 pixels.  Keep in mind that some members may be accessing through a dial up connection.
    - Birdline UK reserves the right to edit or remove any images that do not meet the guidelines.

    Signature Guidelines
    - Signatures may contain a mixture of text, images.
    - Text of up to 4 or 5 lines is acceptable. There is a limit of 255 characters.
    - Signatures may include links to websites, but may not include obvious advertising as per the above general guidelines.
    - Birdline UK, it's Directors, Administrators and Forum Moderators reserve the right to edit or remove any signature that does not meet these guidelines.

    Avatar Guidelines
    - You may upload your own avatar to this site or may link to a remote avatar.
    - Uploaded avatars may not exceed 100 x 100 pixels and 6Kb.

    As part of the new European General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) we have to give visitors to our web site an opportunity to choose not to accept Cookies each time they visit. The most straight forward way to achieve this is to ask people to 'Accept Cookies' (or not) each time they visit the site.
