Percy (Orange Winged Amazon) - 7220913

Name: Percy

Breed: Orange Winged Amazon

Reference No: 7220913

Summary: Hello, I am Percy an Orange Winged Amazon. I’m a quiet guy, who loves to sit on the top of my cage and watch the world go by. Even though you can’t handle me, I do like being out of my cage.

Description:
I am a very nervous bird but I’m getting used to people each day. I don’t mind other birds around me and I’m ok with dogs. I come out of my cage under my own steam and I go back into my cage on my own too – if you approach me when I am on top of my cage then I will go straight in as I tend to retreat to the safety of my cage when I am unsure. I like my fruit and veg and love walnuts. I also enjoy a spray with warm water. I’m not a noisy bird even though I’m an Amazon. I am plucked on my back but I am getting some feathers back now. I think this is due to a change in diet, and my safehouse Dad thinks I may also pluck through stress / nerves so hopefully as I settle in a new home I will get better still. I came with my own cage and toys but would like some new toys please. At the moment I have no preference to men or women, so if you are looking for a good friend then you will have one in me. I will keep you company and ask for nothing more than good food, water and fresh fruit and veg each day, and of course plenty of LOVE. Oh and if you can keep my cage nice, clean and tidy then I will be so happy to share my life with you. So I hope to see you soon.

Comes with cage? Yes

Location: Conwy

Note: This bird is in the latter stages of the rehoming process and a potential forever home may have been found. Please do not apply for this bird unless the red writing is removed. Thank you.
