Charlie (Congo African Grey) - 240115

Name: Charlie

Species: Congo African Grey

Reference No: 240115

Summary: Hello! My name is Charlie and I'm a shy Congo African Grey looking for a kind and patient carer to bring me out of my shell.

Description:
I'm a very nervous fellow because of my past experiences. As you can see, this has also made me start to pluck my feathers. I know with time and patience and a lot of love, my true colours will start to show and I'll become a fabulous companion. I may be shy, but I'm also very clever. I can only say a few words, but I understand a lot more. I prefer men. A man will have a much better chance at earning my trust and building a bond with me. I'm not aggressive with women, I just can't seem to trust them in the same way. I'd also like somewhere quiet and peaceful so I can start to relax. I don't trust children at all, so an adult-only home is a must for me. I'm a great eater and happy to have my fruit and veg. I also enjoy a nice spray bath. I hope you'll also be able to give me some lovely cardboard and wood so I can exercise my beak. I love music and I hope we can dance and sing together. I don't mind other birds, but I probably won't interact with them a lot. I'm generally quite happy to keep to myself and watch the world go by. I come with a cage, but perhaps in time I could use a bigger one. What I really need is someone who can give me a second chance at life. I know I deserve it and I know the right person with lots of patience and understanding is out there. I would love to meet you if you think you might be the one for me!

Comes with cage? Yes

Location: Wiltshire

Note: This bird is in the latter stages of the rehoming process and a potential forever home may have been found. Please do not apply for this bird unless the red writing is removed. Thank you.
