Inty (Meyers Parrot) - 1060516

Name: Inty

Breed: Meyers Parrot

Reference No: 1060516

Summary: Hi there! My name is Inty and I'm a lovely 6 year-old Meyer's Parrot looking for someone who will help continue my education.

Description:
I have to admit that when I first came to my safehouse my behaviour was a bit rough around the edges, but I've been here a while now and I've come on leaps and bounds. You'll need to take it slow and steady when exposing me to new situations about your home, but I'm becoming more adaptable and adventurous by the day. I happily come out of my cage once the door is open and come to you, so you can see what a good flyer I am. I can land on an outstretched arm, although a head is quite a good spot, too. I will also step up onto a forearm or perch and will put myself to bed when I'm ready in the evening. It's turned out that I'm really rather an old tickle pot and dare I say it almost cuddly, though you'll need to gain my trust first. I can do a fabulous sneeze, cough, kiss and alarm clock beep and love a good whistle to duet to. My favourite game is when my safehouse mum makes me a treat parcel and I get to unwrap it. I'll take titbits from fingers very gently when offered. I also enjoy watching cartoons on tv in the morning. I'll join you in the dancing and singing bits! My safehouse mum thinks that I would be okay with sensible teenagers. I can give a nip if I get frightened by new things, so a house with small children wouldn't work for me. I'm a lovely fellow looking for someone who has time to help me gain more confidence. If you think you might be the one for me, I'd love to hear from you. I've been waiting here a long time and I'd love to find my forever home soon!

Comes with cage? Yes

Location: Hampshire

Note: This bird is in the latter stages of the rehoming process and a potential forever home may have been found. Please do not apply for this bird unless the red writing is removed. Thank you.
