Ruby & Dyson (Congo African Greys) - 3240514

Name: Ruby & Dyson

Breed: Congo African Greys

Reference No: 3240514

Summary: Hello there! Our names are Ruby and Dyson and we're a 14 year-old bonded pair of Congo African Greys.

Description:

We're more like best friends than a married couple as we've shown no signs of trying to mate. We're just very happy together and would never want to be separated. We're very laid back and easy to look after. We mostly like to play on top of our cage, chew on some lovely wood toys and cardboard, and watch the world go by. Sometimes Dyson braves a walk on the floor to check things out. Neither of us can fly, so walking is our way of exploring the world. Ruby is loving and chatty and enjoys a nice head scratch. Dyson, on the other hand, can be a bit grumpy. Nothing aggressive, just a bit curmudgeonly, really. We love each other best, but we do like to chat to humans. Other birds are fine with us, but we don't like other animals at all. They make us very nervous. We prefer someone around for a good amount of time in the day as we like our cage door open most of the time. We're good company for each other if you have to be out, but we wouldn't like to be left for hours and hours every day. Ruby had a respiratory disease (aspergillosis) which she has been treated for and recovered from. Even though she's okay now, she'll need you to keep an eye out for any breathing trouble. We come with a nice large cage, which we live in together. So how about it? We're a lovely pair of Greys and no trouble at all. Please apply for us. We'd love to meet you!

Comes with cage? Yes

Location: Wiltshire

Note: This bird is in the latter stages of the rehoming process and a potential forever home may have been found. Please do not apply for this bird unless the red writing is removed. Thank you.
