Troy (Congo African Grey) - 1319

Name: Troy

Breed: Congo African Grey

Reference No: 1319

Summary: Hello there! My name is Troy and I'm a cheeky Congo African Grey looking for a new home.

Description:
I can talk up a storm and I learn new words, phrases and tunes very easily. My current favourite phrase is "roll over one more time!" I'll also say "good morning" to you and tell you "bye bye" if I see you picking up your keys. I just love speaking and being spoken to. I'll also whistle and I love it when you whistle back to me. I prefer the ladies in general, but I'm not aggressive towards men or older children. One thing I'm not at all keen on is being handled. That goes for stepping up, as well. It's just not my thing. Perhaps there's someone out there who can win my trust and teach me these things. You never know! I can also be quite territorial about my cage, but over time I will trust you to put your hands in there. I have a special cupboard under my cage and I love to forage in there. If you put fruit and veg (which I love) in there I'll come down and explore. Although I tend to keep to my cage, I use my secret cupboard to go in and out if I'm in the mood. Pretty cool, eh? I also like to play hide and seek with you where I hide in my cupboard and you call for me. If you clean my cage, I love to have a play of tug-of-war with the newspaper. I'm just a very playful guy, really! I'm not much of a flyer. I prefer to explore by walking around on the floor. I also like a nice bowl of warm water for my baths. My safehouse mum thinks I'm a real cutie! I come with my own cage and it must come with me as it has my special magic cupboard built in. Are you looking for a playful, lively fellow to join your family? Do you think you could be the one for me? If so, plese apply. I'd be so excited to meet you!

Comes with cage? Yes

Location: Surrey

Note: This bird is in the latter stages of the rehoming process and a potential forever home may have been found. Please do not apply for this bird unless the red writing is removed. Thank you.
