Skipper (Congo African Grey) - 1020617

Name: Skipper

Breed: Congo African Grey

Reference No: 1020617

Summary: Hi! My name is Skipper and I'm a cheeky Congo African Grey who loves music.

Description:
I think I'm around 20 years-old, but nobody can tell me for sure, so we'll just have to guess. My vocabulary is so wide that I can't even begin to tell you all the things I can say. You'll be in for a surprise every day! I get on fine with other animals and birds. As far as humans are concerned, I prefer adults and older children, as little ones are a bit scary for me. I like women best and love ladies voices. I guess you could call me a ladies' man. I'm not a particularly loud bird and I don't scream. I've always stepped up onto a bit of mesh to get me back inside my cage, but since being at my safehouse, I haven't needed it and always go back in when I'm told. I love music but only lady singers. I'll slide down my cage and onto the floor for a sing and dance if you sing with me. I have joined my safehouse bird choir and copy singing, whistling and beatboxing. I also enjoy going freestyle and have put some wicked tunes together! I'm not at all cage territorial, in fact, my safehouse mum sticks her whole head in my cage to clean me out and I just watch in amusement wondering when she will work out how to pull the tray out. I nod for 'yes' and also wave hello. If you give me a treat, I'll make the cutest 'ooooh' sound. I've quickly worked out that I get more when i do this! I will eat from your hand, but please don’t try to pick me up. I'm a big boy and can do it myself. Fingers coming at me quickly make me nervous. I know that I am very loved here, but I'm ready for my forever home now. I'm currently in Suffolk and I do have my own cage though it's a bit tatty, and once I have settled, I would love a new one please! I'm just looking for someone, particularly a patient lady, who's home regularly and who wants to spend quality time with me. I know I will make someone very happy. If you think you might be the one for me, please apply. I'd love to meet you!

Comes with cage? Yes

Location: Suffolk
